Serengetidipity Discovery

2016, while on safari, we admired a performance by the Four Season's Maasai vocal group. I was so inspired, I made an introduction with the General Manager and asked if it would be possible to meet the lead vocalist and share the goals of Voice of Maasai music collaborative. The GM showed much enthusiasm, I called Alex at the studio and swiftly arranged logistics to get Nemaa to Arusha for a recording.

Biography

Nemaa Koshuma, local tribesmen from Kakesio Village Ngorongoro District, Arusha Region is an unstoppable warrior using his compelling tenor voice to express concerns for the future of Maasailand. The Frankie Valli of the Serengeti, Koshuma can be recognized for his unusually powerful lead falsetto voice. Koshuma applies his vocal talents and Voice of Maasai platform to speak out about the rapidly changing space of his homeland. While Koshuma is not writing compelling lyrics he is a mechanic at the Four Seasons Resort Serengeti.
